Boston Gear Helical Gears are manufactured in both right-handed and left-handed configurations, available in transverse Diametral Pitch 6TDP to 24TD.

They are designed with an industry-standard 45° helix angle, which allows them to transmit motion and power between non-intersecting shafts that are parallel or at a 90° angle to each other. Helical gears with opposite-hand helix angles are required for parallel shaft operation.

BG helical gears ensure great tooth strength due to the helical wrap around, and an increased contact ratio due to the axial tooth overlap.
